In September, the Obama administration launched the Stand Stronger Campaign, a new initiative that encourages green card holders to apply for U.S. citizenship.
There are 8.8 million green card holders in the United States who may be eligible for citizenship. That’s 8.8 million people who aren’t taking full advantage of the opportunities they gain by becoming citizens!
The main purpose of the Stand Stronger Campaign is to offer additional resources and support to inspire more eligible green card holders to take the next step in their American journey.
President Obama hopes to use grassroots advocacy, celebrity ambassadors — such as chef José Andrés and former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Fernando Valenzuela — and non-profit partners to educate the immigrant community about the real benefits of becoming a U.S. citizen.
At FileRight.com, we believe in President Obama’s Stand Stronger Campaign. Our software helps immigrants easily prepare their U.S. citizenship applications online. We make the entire process simple and provide great resources to help you pass the U.S. citizenship test and interview.
